The new season kicks off by these days with several cups starting, one of them being
ClanBase EuroCup XVIII. After all the controversy and bad publicity the last edition created, the whole crew is working hard to set up again what was back in time the most antecipated and respected Call of Duty competition in Europe.
A few important details must be known by everyone expecting to be part of the invite list for this season, first of all as you should expect, the latest version of
ProMod will be the official competition mod for this season, which one will include a total of 24 teams divided by 4 groups. 20 of these teams will be directly invited to join EuroCup while 4 others will have to make it through the qualifiers stage to be held with 16 participating teams.
Map list is also something you shouldn't forget about, the maps to be used in EuroCup'x 18th edition are the following ones: Crash, Crossfire, Citystreets, Backlot and Strike. A total of five maps to be used from the first qualifier match to the grand final. Also demos are a must, every team must upload at least two demos per match, teams failing to do so after warning will be removed from the cup.
The invite list will be released next Sunday, September 14th. As usual, the official
#EuroCup channel on Quakenet will be the one to host the announcement. Make sure to keep an eye on ClanBase's frontpage as the schedule and playlist should be announced in the next few days.
