With the first ever LAN tournament for Call of Duty 4, Multiplay i32 now out of the way, its time to focus to the upcoming weekend where a second LAN event for the game will take place at the Milk Opéra Hall located in Paris, France. So far this event has been on the down low and kept away from the active community a lot, but more information regarding the tournament is now beginning to surface. With the prizes and money now confirmed for the event, Activision will be supporting the tournament offering a high price of €3,000 for the first place standing and hardware products from Razer and Qpad for the second and third place standings.
The competition is invite only and it has been confirmed that 12 teams will participate overall. Our very own TeK-9 Call of Duty 4 team will be attending the event this weekend and they have been tipped to win the competition. But with H2k.Qpad and TheLastResort at their feet, they won’t have an easy time at all as all teams will be battling it out for the prize money. Recently the event organisers had released the groups, which include two groups of six with nine of the 12 teams being French teams. Below you can find all the information regarding the groups, team rosters and map list.
