| Description |

Note from the players:
March 2006 tek9 got an offer from Kamikaz to produce a fragmovie about the Call of Duty 2 team. Knowing how great Kamikaz' previous work (The Dark Prophecy) was we could not decline such a great offer. The team started collecting their frags and just couldn't wait to deliver them to the highly rated producer.
Since then we have been given short clips from what Kamikaz has already produced with our footage and they all looked awesome. Even the belgian community helped Kamikaz out by aiding him in getting footage for the intro and outro. Months went by while asking how the progress was coming along. "Great" was the average answer. We were even told multiple times that the movie would be finished soon.
This however kept being delayed. At the Outpost on Fire 2 event we got confirmation that the movie was progressing well. This was almost a year and a half after the cod2 team had provided the required footage. But again it got delayed apparently. End of August this year we got a beta teaser which included the fragpart of Jeplaaa without intro and outro. And it looked great.
We had gained full trust towards the production. But currently we havent heard from kamikaz for months. Even no response via e-mail or anything. And with Call of Duty 4 at the door plus a 90% changed line-up the interest in the movie severely got damaged.
We all are tired of waiting, and waiting for Jeplaaa to get finished would take to long since the era of Call of Duty 2 has been passed. So almost two years after providing the frags we are releasing the beta screener which we got a while back. You will see the lack of an intro/outro plus not perfect quality, but still very enjoyable to watch. You will also see how the, back then, belgian TeK-9 Call of Duty 2 team managed to qualify for the Eurocup XIII lan finals from an underdog position and also footage from their advantage in Sweden during Rumble at Playz.
Also we hope you wont miss the 3 soundtracks that come along with this production. Rock, psytrance and a bonustrack are the options you can choose from. These can be selected by changing the audiotrack in the audio-options of your mediaplayer. We recommend using VLC player or Windows Media Player Classic since these make it easy to watch the movie and easily provide a soundtrack that fits you.
Tek9 Networks Ltd. hope you'll still enjoy this unfinished fragmovie.

Where to begin...
There was going to be 3 different versions of this movie. 1280x720, 1024x576 and 768x432(this version), but we only get to see the latter. However, this doesn't remove the spectacular quality you will still see for the file size.
The colours Kami used in this movie are insane, as well as the 240fps @ 1280x1024... It must of taken him a few days, before he had even a minutes worth of footage, then, he had to sync that to 3 audio tracks, which he mixed himself. No wonder the movie was taking a long time.
The audio, well, probably some of the best syncing I've seen in a movie, with some known, and used songs, to some more unusual songs. Definately the best soundtrack used in a movie.
The editing, although not alot of flashing lights and other epileptic images, is miles enough to keep the viewer happy. There are even a few moments in the movie, where the editing makes your jaw drop.
The frags are also great. Multiple man take-downs, with a few lucky shots introduced here and there give you a real sense of the skill these Belgian players have, individually and through teamwork.
Overall, despite not having a proper intro or outro, Kami has made a masterpiece, worthy of the old school tek9 side. My final verdict: 9/10 and the best movie in the COD-Series to date. |

Too bad he never got it finished. Still, a class movie. The audio syncing with 3 tracks is insane. 9/10, would have given it a 10/10 if it had had the intro and outro. |

This movie made me really frustrated cos it oozes potential, some of the editing ideas are fantastic with some awesome effects and a great soundtrack too, but you can quite clearly tell its unfinished.
A real shame it never got finished, but oh well. |

just wow.
would have been the best cod2 movie ever (if not the best movie out of CoDv AND CoD2) if it had an intro and outro.

#35, most of them are remixes kami made so can't be found so easily
for the intro and outro, the full movie will be released but this béta is made with an old pc wich couldn't handle the full version at the end, so kami is buying a new one but he has to work fulltime so it will be there when he has the money and time for his new pc. |

#35 like Tigah said it were remixes but atleast I heard requiem for a dream and feel good inc (from gorillaz)
About the movie.. Simply the best movie I've seen so in CoD2, even without an intro and outro. Top frags, perfect quality, unbelievable syncing with nice music and some shoutcasting that really fit in the movie.
Top job Kami, it has been worth the waiting!:D |
