Negative Points:
- vcp background sounds. In one word: useless. Didn't fit at all with the movie, you just have put some sounds in the back and that's it.
- Freelooks. We all try to do the cam things that we saw in R3 ET Clan trailer but we are all keep failing. Kinda liked the ones at the intro but after it, they were useless and kept slowing the down the movie rhythm.
- Editing. Again, with such frags and soundtrack I was expecting something great with the editing. Nothing new, and even already what we saw you couldn't deliver something "special" or different. You failed to create something with impact something that people might say at the end "simple but amazing".
- sync. You failed to sync such good soundtracks with the movie. That's a half way to fail completly.
- 3D scenes. We already saw that 3D is kinda your speciallity. But please don't use it in CSS movies. Both 3D bullets were kinda awfull and ruined the scenes completly.
Positive points:
- Frags. Amazing frags you had.
- Soundtracks. Some of them could be "overused" but still are pretty enjoyable to hear. Awesome songs, good choice. Lovely Switchback remix btw.
- The simplicity of the intro, kinda like it. Its a "different" thing to present to the public what are you about to see. Some nice ideas, congratz there.
Overall:
You failed in the critical points. Useless background sounds, poor editing, impact and sync. On contrary you gave us a pretty nice intro, frags and soundtracks. 6/10.
We know that you can do better, and we are expecting a lot more from you, good luck with your next productions. |

Wow, how hyper critical are you.
Very decent movie, one of the better css movies. Awesome frags, quality decent. I personally liked the free cam to first person perspective syncs.
Not bad music, would of loved it even more if i was 4 years younger but my music taste has changed a bit.

i also loved the scene at the start where t's are rushing ramp with the camera is set above them and you see the graphics develop below them on the floor.

I didn't said that the movie was crap lol. After watched the movie I saw some points that I didn't like and others that I liked. And I said it. The movie is above the "average" css movies idd, but like I said in the end, we (css moviemakers community) know that doc can do better. He's a talented guy and pretty sure he can do a lot better.
But I'm thinking some other thing, probably you (and almost the cod4 community) aren't used to see such "type" of movies. In my honest opinion, there isn't a cod4 movie yet that I can say "damn no fcking word to describe how amazing this movie is". In CoD2 you had a couple of them, but in CoD4.. not yet. So by watching movies from other games, specially 1.6 and CSS, which normally are very well edited, you think "best movie I've ever seen" etc etc.
Once again, the movie is pretty nice, but for me, has some aspects which I didn't like and other I liked. Is like watching a normal "hollywood" movie. So I pretty much don't understand why you people are criticizing me just for pointing some bad and good aspects of a film lol. |

Almost all of the dreaMaker movies are awsome, I think the best movie EVER is "Zanci - inMind" but the prob is that the guy was compass hacking :( still the best movie with GREAT editing and awsome syncing and great frags...not trying to hard but delivering the job perfectly ! |

and just to add...u say cs 1.6 and css have better movies...the thing they lack big time is simple...they never reach the same "hights" as cod 4 movies and cod 2 movies in "action"...the possibilities with cod 4 movies are just so much greater and they have better flow tbh...

You can't compare "The Dark Propecy" or even "the e-WHOlution" or "The Italian Job" with a single cod4 movie.. yet. Those 3 movies were simply amazing and one of the best ones in the call of duty series in terms of editing, frags and everything judged in a normal movie. But like I said, "yet".. pretty sure that in a near future an "amazing cod4" movie will come out.

Imo, the problem in making cod movies is that time you take capturing the frags. OH MY GOD, I was talking with c3m some weeks ago and he told me that we could take 4 hours capturing some frags in a single round. 4 hours ? ffs. This could be a point that for some people could say "after spending so much time capturing the frags, my motivation was only just release this sh1t".
When u say "but cod4 movies have IMO nicer sync and they are alot more fun tbh", well, probably you don't know but "Eve" (a well known 1.6 movie made by a well known moviemaking community) was film of the year in 2007. (just an example).
You can't compare both games because you don't have the same tools, methods and ideas for both games. Still you can do awesome things with CoD4, with CS, CSS, Quake, every game possible, you just need talent, imagination and knowledge. |

I don't really like this movie. Its a good movie, but, not my style of movie.
6/10 in my opinion only because I didn't like the soundtracks you used and some of the effects. And the 'freeflying' wasn't my type of cheese :P GJ tho' |
