Or at least how you should be feeling, thinking or acting. One sentence can make you put everything into perspective and complete change the way you think about a certain topic. I always have a couple of quotes in the back of my mind to keep me going in the right direction. Quotes that make me stop, think about what I’m doing and perhaps overhaul everything I was doing and tackle it a completely different way. A great quote for anyone who is in the business of providing a service or product to someone else ( which is virtually anyone). I’ve known this quote for quite some time but it was recently brought to my attention again and I’m using it more and more every day. This is a great way of keeping people happy (such as sponsors) and an ideal way to do business. Give yourself a realistic goal and communicate that with your clients, partners, customers or whatever. When the goals have been communicated properly, all you have to do now is achieve just a little bit more. Trust me, everyone loves it. This has to be one of my all-time favorite quotes. Simple yet so powerful. I try to live by this quote every day of my life and set the bar higher with every step. No really, that quote is from someone who is both insecure and egotistical - saying something like that comes from someone who is trying to defend the fact that they know they are not widely liked, but try and make out they dont care, when in actual fact they do.
@bakerzji, in theory yeah you're right, but the sentiment behind the statement would never be true, no one wants to be criticised in a negative way (assuming they are not a sociopath, in which case read below).
