Graham "messioso" Pitt
Graham has been around the Call of Duty scene since it's very birth. He first began making progress in the scene as a ClanBase supervisor back in 2006 and has since worked for the CGS, ESEA, ESH and mainly the ESL, where he has run the UK ESL Pro Series, as well as working on the ENC and EMS in recent months. He has since joined the Cadred team to provide even more coverage of CoD4 online and offline and to provide continued support for the community. ""Power Gaming top the list after winning AEF and a good showing in the Sapphire Challenge, losing out to H2k who take 2nd by winning the Sapphire Challenge and a second place at AEF. Things will be hotting up between these two teams soon enough and they are the ones to beat right now. Dignitas played well on the final day off AEF before meeting fnatic, but even that wasn't a one sided affair with many overtimes, combine that with winning i40 4v5 and they sneak in at 3rd. Fnatic drop to 4th after their 3rd at AEF, they have had nothing to show for themselves since, if AEF was a day earlier, they wouldn't have made my top10 at all. Rage.NL come in at 5th after their gutsy performance to take 4th at AEF, showing that even with the rest of Europe attending, their 3rd at gamersject wasn't a fluke.

At 18 years of age, Deci is currently a student energy and environmental engineering in France and has been with the site since September 2008. "This month it's difficult to create an accurate ranking without looking at the previous months, as there have been just three tournaments: two online and one offline, without all the top teams. So for me, the ranking doesn't change much. The top 7 remains the same with Power, H2k, Fnatic, Dignitas, RAGE, Reason and SPEED-LINK. zeroPoint! are my number 8th: after a top 9-16 place finish at AEF, the Hungrian team reached the grand final of the Western Digital Challenge with victories against AiRBORNE 16-13 and eSuba 13-3. MondialServers are at number 9, while PGS complete my august ranking."
Bob "Bcrbo" van de Voorde
Bob has been writing about the Call of Duty scene for about 4 years now and even enjoyed a brief stint at the top of Call of Duty 2 with his German team. After Call of Duty 4’s release he started to focus more and more on the journalist side of things and was in charge of running the LowLandLions website until a few months ago, after which he made the move over to Cadred.org. "There is not a lot to talk about, this month, after our very active and intense July month, most of the LAN scene died out in August. Online there were still some interesting matches and leagues to enjoy, however, but that has always been a poor yardstick to live by, unfortunately. Reason Gaming lost out, but they were probably just not interested enough. Team-Dignitas showed us they can keep on fighting, even when they are, quite literally this time, one man down. But they will have some interesting problems to face come September in the aftermath that is i40. Other than that, there is not much to be changed in comparison to the July ratings."
Joshua "twrs" Towers
As a former Team Infused Call of Duty 4 player, Josh knows the scene from top to bottom. After playing at high level for some time, twrs started writing for TEK9 and was one of the managers of Team Infused. "For this month’s European Call of Duty Top 10, I have taken a total facts and figures approach (for the most part, anyway), looking at the 3 main competitions which have taken place and ranking the teams accordingly. For those unaware, the 3 main events were the Western Digital Challenge, the Sapphire Euro Challenge and lastly Multiplay’s Insomnia-40 LAN in England; ultimately this does mean that teams such as FnaticMSI, Team SPEED-LINK, TCM-Gaming and Imperial Esports have taken a drop in my view of August, but not disappeared all together.
Camiel "jetset"
Jetset, a 23 year old Dutch student currently in his final year of his bachelor studies, has been part of one of the biggest CoD portals since early 2005. He is the current director of content for TEK9. "August has been a relatively quiet month, with the Western Digital Challenge, Sapphire Euro Challenge and Multiplay i40 being the main competitions in the past four weeks. Personally, I feel this was too little to change my opinion on the current top 10, especially after a major event such as AEF. My ranking has therefore stayed the same, but with several roster changes to come, next month could become interesting."

For this month’s European Call of Duty Top 10, I have taken a total facts and figures approach (for the most part, anyway), looking at the 3 main competitions which have taken place and ranking the teams accordingly. Leading this month will be Team Dignitas who took victory at Insomnia-40 in England just last weekend, whilst playing 4v5 without phantasy and with Lighters standing-in. In my eyes, this is a great showcase for what the team is capable of.
Taking second and third in my rankings will be H2k Gaming and Power Gaming, who both participated in the Grand Final of the Sapphire Euro Challenge – the tougher of the two online tournaments in August. Joining these two will be TLR, who with their new BeNeLux line-up gave H2k a decent challenge.
At this point, quite frankly, I gave up hope of trying to place teams in any sort of order. In my eyes, ranks 5-10 have merely done more officially in Call of Duty 4 than any other team – August was a quite month for the European scene.
Roll on next month’s Top 10!

pretty good list, but missing the name.. :p

The only reason certain teams are still in here is because AEF finished on the 1st of Aug, meaning they were in July's rankings too. RAGE.RU weren't in those rankings, either.

what a perfect jointzz guy :D
:]
Fnatic > Power
Top 3 should be:
1. H2k
2. Fnatic
3. Power
Fnatic didn't do great at AEF but they are still 1/2, H2k having the slight edge over them after beating them at AEF. Why Power is #1 idk, clearly should be H2k
edit: Rest looks fine btw
Taking second and third in my rankings will be Power Gaming and H2k Gaming, who both participated in the Grand Final of the Sapphire Euro Challenge
It was the semis, H2k - TLR final.

we should stop calling it july/august/september top10 etcetc
because i think 0/10 teams played with their normal lineup this month and some teams didnt even play at all and as always the same teams are in it again.
Nah actually, I understand that you want to have a monthly ranking, but still quite stupid when there's absolutely fuckall to vote on :P Oh well, will be more interesting again after the next upcoming LAN season.
Leonidas 4 pres, Fragmasters 4 10th!
Do a post season rankings,
not a monthly one.
let's wait till TeX10, wud prefer to see reason in top 3, c'mon danny get confidance, take out your glasses, and put the SAUCE !!
not some random ppl votin for their favorite team every single month :)

I am pretty sure the next list will include also OX Gaming team, since they will certainly play solid at TeX10 (If it will be announced :S).
2. Power
3. Fnatic
U drunk mEiGHty?
With all that being said, congratulations to the teams who made the list this month, I don't doubt for a minute that you deserve it.
I totally agree that if they don't beat top 10 teams, then they shouldn't be top 10. My point was basically "if you said this is your criteria, how did you miss some teams out?"
mess xdD
