With one busy summer behind us we are again a load of stories and experiences richer and at the dawn of a new era, I take a look at what the summer has brought us for Call of Duty 4.
With three major summer events so close to one another, we had a lot of exciting matches to look forward to. With i37 finalizing this summer period a lot of teams will take a short break and with a new game lurking around the corner team changes are inevitable. In this article I'll look back at the summer from event to event with stories and matches which caught my eye. I'll go more into detail afterwards on the performance of several players and teams that I found interesting.
By no means will this article give an objective view on the summer events, but more a personal look on the scene from my eyes as an outsider (for the first time!). You can view this article as one big personal blog actually...

So arguably their 3 good results and 1 failed i36 puts them below us and we would be the lan team of 2009 based on results.

But hey I've pocketed a couple of grand this year and met some of the nicest people ever including fnatic.

Deffo some impressing results vas, I'm not arguing with them at all and if anyone comes closes it would be you guys - IMO (remember this is a biased article ;-)
They won (against you guys) the most important events of the year (OOF placed better because you werent there, TEX won vs you and Iseries won vs you) which puts them top of my list :)
I also kept in mind that fnatic started performing well when they changed to this lineup, I agree that the previous lineup couldn't match those performances...
This BJ party was indeed a memorable moment. The whole event was, lot of cool ppl, can't figure out how many different personns passed atleast a night in that flat xD.
Could say a lot more about this week but im way too lazy ..
Looking forward for that AEF next year, but certainly not as a tech helper ;p
nice article steven <3 :D and can people just drop the WHO IS THE BEST TEAM OF 2009 crap ? yes vas you had good results overal but we stepped up when it mattered and won the lans that counted. [->ATM<-] we're the best team.
nice read, tcm has been really stable this year, but that doesnt necessarily mean they are the team of the year. fnatic won 2 of the big summer lans and finished second at the other, in the end its a personal choice but i agree with dfb.

You have to remember, Steve is a fnatic fanboy! :p
Don't forget that before these events fnatic did bugger all but the amazing results of the past few weeks easily put them as the #1 team ATM.
