With the Outpost on Fire 4 event kicking off tomorrow morning in Antwerp, Belgium, the twelve attending teams will be preparing themselves for an action packed weekend. The OOF4 event, powered by Tt eSports, will feature two of Europe's current top three teams, who will face some serious competition from teams from Belgium, the Netherlands but also Finland, Russia and Poland.
To start up our coverage ahead of the start of the tournament upcoming Saturday, we caught up with several of the attending teams (note: suXus had to cancel their attendance) to see how they've prepared, what their expectations are and who they except to do well.
Click on one of the questions below to see what players from suXus, ROX[KIS], Team YoYoTech, TheLastResort, TCM-Gaming, Dfiance, aNimus-Gaming and Antwerp Aces had to say!
- How have you been preparing for the Outpost on Fire 4? - What are your goals at the event and where do you expect to finish? - What do you regard as your main strengths right now and what do you feel you could still work on? - Who will be your most dangerous opponent in Antwerp and why? - Who do you think will do better than expected and who will do worse in your opinion? - What would your top 3 prediction look like?
Don't know why every team pre-empts any criticism from people by playing the "We've had no practice lol!" card. The mix teams no one expects to do well/ not that well, but if TCM wins or come second then the more notable teams on the list should stop complaining about the monthly rankings because they are crap if they can't be a mix, albeit a top end mix team.
Yes but not vastly. The only way it's different is the tactics are far, far looser. That means you can't really anti-strat them but if a team like yourselves who claim to be top 10 can't beat a mix, regardless of how good the players in the team are, then no offence but you're not as good as you might think.
I'm not saying that is going to be the case before you have a go at me :p. My point is a high end team should always beat a mix :)
everybody just digging a hole to defend theirself if they perform badly
whats the point in going.
hahah i love that
this rofl
"nawww..couldnt prac properly, dont judge us ;((((((("
Za Mother Russia !
Now, they don't attend the LAN on theirselves.
Final: Anexis versus The Last Resort (I believe in you, pazazu :D)
