Liam "crow" Crowley: How have you been preparing for the IEM Euro finals?
Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski: OK so let's start from beginning. After I missed IEM Dubai, I started to thinking about playing and stuff. I started playing some TDM and really enjoyed it. It's a very nice game, very similar to Quake 3, I have fun with this. I decided to practice to Dreamhack and after I came back I kept playing in evenings some TDM for fun and to catch my form. For about 7 days before IEM I started putting more time for duel and playing only duels. I think tdm is very nice to keep good shape etc. My preparations I guess are nice and I like it. I just try now to play duel when I can. I also come to Germany 3 days before IEM so I have nice internet and can play on every server.
Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira: Been playing with different players just to be able to play more and different playing styles. Also been playing a lot of online tournaments lately. But main reason for playing those was not to get better, but just winning. Still learnt from it.
Anton "Cooller" Singov: Everybody knows how am I preparing. Nothing special. Just playing 2 to 3 hours in the day. I think I already got my best form and now I just need to safe it. And that is what I'm doing.
Magnus "fox" Olsson: I've unfortunately had plenty of other things I've had to deal with so there hasn't been much preparation I'm afraid.
Kevin "strenx" Baeza: I don't know at all, I don't know if I'm ready but I will play my best. I guess that [the ZOTAC cups] helped me a little.
Jeffrey "draven" Debipersad: I'm just trying to play as much as i can.
Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevsky: I'm playing on Russian servers, with everybody who wants it... have a bad ping to Europe, so this is the only way to practise.
Pierre-Emeric "l1nkje" Portier: Well, I'm playing a lot of HoN (Heroes of Newerth) recently! I've been playing QuakeLive to keep my aim, stay in shape and mostly watch demos about what I should improve in my game. I don't know if that'll be enough but i hope i could create surprises.
Alexander "Z4muZ" Ihrfors: Nothing special. I told myself to play at least 3 to 4 hours a day one week before the tourney but I failed there. But there is still 1 to 2 days left, so I can try to do something good about it now.
Anton "Cooller" Singov: Actually I don't have any personal power. I think I have good timing, aim, moving and tactics in complex and that is my strength.
gl Maciej & Alex!
