5. Team CoolerMaster
Team CoolerMaster have had mixed results over the past month or so. Looking at their UkeSa results alone, they have score 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. However, the team they lost to (ButtonBashers) isn’t attending, which means they have a fair shot at the top 3. Even so, they are seeded below the other two teams. I asked TCM vasquez to tell us a little about this.
The TEK-9 community vote placed you as seed 5 for the tournament. Do you think this is fair? If not, what seed would you place yourself at, and why?
I feel the seed is accurate based on performances. I think the only questionable team above us is fnatic. We drew with them with their new lineup in our worst map. Then they surprised the community by beating button bashers. Overall, I think the seeds are fair.
What is your main goal for i36?Our main goal as a team is top 3. We want to use the offline event as a build-up for LAN79 and other summer LANs.
Any other comments / thoughts you wish to add?We are looking forward to seeing some of our friends at the event and want to say a big thank you for the continued support from TCM management.
6. YoYoTech DragonsThe first of two teams from the organisation YoYoTech are one of the hot favourites to cause some major upsets. They recently won the pre EPS-Cup, and scored a shock draw with Team Dignitas in the second season of the EPS in recent weeks. YYT.AMD Froster came to tell us all about their spot in the seeds.
The TEK-9 community vote placed you as seed 6 for the tournament. Do you think this is fair? If not, what seed would you place yourself at, and why?I think seed 6 is fairly accurate for us at the moment, we have won the Pre-EPS cup in which we have beaten Sypher, Infused and the old zeroPoint, our main ''rivals'' for the 6th seed.
These teams and veritas could beat each other at any given day though, so its hard to predict what’s going to happen.
What is your main goal for i36?Considering its our first LAN as a team we don’t want to put our goals too high, we are aiming for a top 6 spot, anything above that is a bonus.
Any other comments / thoughts you wish to add?Shoutout to Snooze, and good luck to all the other teams at i36 of course!
7. Team Sypher
Sypher have been steadily climbing the Call of Duty 4 ladder, and are really beginning to come into their own as a serious contender for the top 5 at the event. They have had some really good results recently, taking Reason Gaming to double overtime in the Infused Cup recently. Sypher|NEOX told me a bit about their aspirations for the competition.
The TEK-9 community vote placed you as seed 8 for the tournament. Do you think this is fair? If not, what seed would you place yourself at, and why?Yeah I totally agree to this seeding, I believe it’s really close between us and YoYotech Dragons (former NCC) but they have pulled off some very nice results recently. Its going to be good to see how this actually turns out as I believe all of the 6th to 10th seeded teams have a chance to upset one of the top 5 seeds
What is your main goal for i36?Well were aiming to play consistently and not lose to teams that are underdogs vs us. We believe we can upset a top 5 team and along with that aim to make an impact on big teams to make people realise that were serious and we will be contending for a top 10 in Europe spot.
Any other comments / thoughts you wish to add?Well we would like to thank Sypher for believing in us and giving us this opportunity to prove ourselves. And we wish the best to all of the other teams attending and for it too be a good LAN:)
8. The ImperialAfter some lineup changes following an extremely successful EPS UK Season 1, the former zeroPoint lineup have moved to

The Imperial. We talked to man of few words imperial`Jonny to get his view on their seed of 8.
The TEK-9 community vote placed you as seed 8 for the tournament. Do you think this is fair? If not, what seed would you place yourself at, and why?Yeah I feel its fair, considering we're a new team plus our previous achievements as individuals. Sypher is the team just above us, and after getting smashed by them in EPS then I guess their placing is justified. We'll have to wait and see if they can do what they do online, offline.
What is your main goal for i36?Obviously our main goal is to come 1st, we'll be happy with anything above 5-6th placing though.
Any other comments / thoughts you wish to add?Just to wish everyone luck and that we're looking forward to the event. Shoutouts to the everyone on the nye vent.

Seeds are about spot on, though yoyo tech (the ncc version, not the shitters) can maybe cause an upset, and for the rest any team which has a goodday, and the right amount of luck/timing :)
Good luck all.

edit :
as for the 10-16 places to be honest any1 could be there it all depends how you play on the day and the map :) - were a reasonably new team and only just really starting to get into the swing of things. Maybe top 18 :D cause i think stim deserve to be in there and signiture but every1 cant be.

or maybe they've changed it to 16 groups, in the "example" on the i-series website there are 16 groups
but ye i dunno lol =PPP

who knows though.. format has changed alot so im confused :P
maybe they're just taking the top 8 seeds and doing 8 groups with the 8 seeds and the rest jumbled up
or maybe 8 groups with 2 of the 16 seeds in
or maybe 16 groups with one in each :p
or maybe we're all completely wrong :DDD
confusion
+ i think the format is weird, but might be gd to have 16 groups if there are enough teams as it gives every1 a real chance to get through. makes it more fun =]

in reality, 11-16 should look more like
r!ve
mugnmouse
stim
dstyle
signature
JNC
but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
