It’s now sunny spring, and for the UK eSports scene that means one thing – iSeries. We are now up to i36, and this looks like it will be another stellar event. With Rustlers doubling the prize pot to a total of £5000, many big names will be coming to take part in the event.
This preview is focused on the Call of Duty 4 competition at the event, which is one of the main 3. Over the last few weeks we held a community vote on the forums to decide what you, the players, think the seedings should be. Once we gathered the results, I decided to track down all the teams in them and ask them their opinion.
Surely some of the teams might give a slightly biased response to the seeds, you ask. Well, I saw this coming and so decided to get the opinions of those who are both well informed and (in theory) unbiased. The people in question are those figures in the call of Duty 4 community that have put a lot of work into helping the scene along, and so have gathered a fair amount of respect from the players and followers of the scene.
And now we come to the crux of this introduction: the seeds themselves. Well, here they are!

To be perfectly honest you 11-16 could be in any order, theres not enough results from the teams to make fair comparisons. It's like eps losses vrs ranked 30 in CB.
Overall I think the seeds are fair. We may be slightly hard done by as we have performed in patches against teams above us in the seed rankings and also against others. Im not massively fussed as they are ultimately only seeds and any games between teams 1-10 and will be really good. Its down to who does it on the day and I look forward to it.

Seeds are about spot on, though yoyo tech (the ncc version, not the shitters) can maybe cause an upset, and for the rest any team which has a goodday, and the right amount of luck/timing :)
Before everyone gets too worked up (may be a little late on this one), may I remind you all that these aren't the official seedings, only the ones decided upon in the community vote. The official ones will be announced soon through cadred, so you can all argue your hearts out then.
Oh and just quickly to the guy saying rapid are dire, they now have Rob 'The Pain Train' Heaton, so gl hf with that.
i would also like to add the official seedings probs wont go down as far as 16th i34 and i35 they went to 8th if im correct?

as for the 10-16 places to be honest any1 could be there it all depends how you play on the day and the map :) - were a reasonably new team and only just really starting to get into the swing of things. Maybe top 18 :D cause i think stim deserve to be in there and signiture but every1 cant be.
ye rofl ^^ i agree 8 groups with 2 top seeds would make the most sense and on ur comment about the 12-16 in the last few days we nTEK as we are now have play mNm, nervous and rapid and they were close games except the rapid cause zenr raged :P
im just interested to see what the format would be.. it could be 16 groups of 4 teams (theres almost enough for that) but i doubt that because not everyone would get a decent amount of games
who knows though.. format has changed alot so im confused :P
ye id rather have 8 groups alot more games tbh :D yeorite is ryan im guessing? something ive been reading top 2 go into money knockout and the 3rd and 4th go into intermediate knockout :O
top 10 is roughly right, but outside that isn't great, we should be in top 16 above d9 at least, but really higher. and you can say thats cocky or w/e all you want but we know were better than d9 easily.
