Despite the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 being their first LAN together, the British based NCE.i3D, recently ranked 7th in Europe, look to be all set to take their group by storm. Having welcomed Seán "Zajaki" Kilbrideto replace Dan "VAE" Ball back in the beginning of February, NCE.i3D went through their the CIC7 seeding tournament undefeated and are a clear favorite to reach the playoffs.
In a group where upsets could definately happen, with Team Impact and Insenia as the two dark horses, Team Thermaltake is expected to be the main contender for the top spot. Albeit relatively unknown, the German team were able to place second in their group and gave TheLastResort, a team ranked just one spot behind NCE in the most recent European top 10, a good run for their money, taking them into overtime in the playoffs on mp_crash: 14-16.
The Italians from Team Impact have kept a relatively stable lineup throughout Call of Duty 4 and have a significant advantage over the competition in terms of LAN experience. It will be interesting to see what they are capable of and the same goes for Insenia, the home of former eSuba (Power Gaming) players Petr "king" Elbogen and Michal "beaster" Stránský.

"I think that our group has some good talent in it. I personally believe that Insenia and ManiaX don't have what it takes to stand up to Team Impact or Team Thermaltake and Sublime. I see Sublime losing in what could be a tight game to Team Impact or Team Thermaltake.
I think both Team Impact and Team Thermaltake are both underestimated and I hope that these two teams can give us a really good game. But, I have to admit, it would be nice to see Team Thermaltake surprise a lot of people and make it through to the playoffs. At the end of our group I see us (NCE) and Team Thermaltake making it through to the next round."

No game is easy in cod4 and on LAN things can get heated and there can be upsets. Ourselves against Corgz will be a bit strange as we're all friends but both teams will believe they can win. We played FF in our seeding group and they can be a bit unpredictable so I expect them to do well. I know of tmoe but I don't think they've got enough to spring any upsets. The darkhorse may well be Infernal Gamers, will be interesting to see how good some of their players are on LAN, so caution is needed. All in all I expect it to be closer than others would think in terms of how the matches pan out.
mouseFX is getting underrated, they did placed 2nd in the poule and won from infinity skills on backlot with 13-4 where fnatic lost from infinity skills with 13-10

Only minor mistake I can see is corgz's lineup, I believe myzz is attending in place of VAE due to VAE being unable to get time off of work.
