page 4: eSports

As we are coming closer to the general subject, let us switch to it right away. eSports is growing every year. We have seen the CPL World Tour with Mister Voo and the legendary Fatal1ty in 2005, we saw the Toxinator destroy everyone who came on his road to victory together with the WSVG and CPL rivalry and much, much more. What do you think eSports will have for us in this new year ?
I hope to see more new faces getting the chance of performing at the highest level. Not only players or teams but also other games. Games such as CounterStrike 1.6 , Warcraft 3 and Quake 4 are played at almost every major event out there so I wish to see more games just like Call of Duty 2, FIFA 2007 or any other game with potential to get a chance at a major event.
I think that is a great answer and I recon a lot of our readers (being Call of Duty 2 players and fans) will love it as well :D. Any other hopes in terms of FIFA for this year or the next ?
I hope that in the years to come I will have my breakthrough on the WCG and other upcoming major events. Apart from FIFA I hope to get discovered in CoD2 a bit because the game is keeping me close to my computer for quite some hours now.
I think you should go talk to Mister ODEE and get yourself a spot in Dignitas.COD2 then :D. No, really, where do you see yourself and your team mates in 1 year time ?
They are way out of my league :), but anyway to get back on track, I think our team has some great potential. With 4 new players who are active and very motivated to become the best team this year, it will be exciting to see where it will take us. With this mix of experience and young talent I think we are heading off to a good season.
To keep on comparing: can you guys be compared as good as the almighty SK Gaming FIFA squad with its legendary twins ? Where are the differences ?
The biggest difference is the lack of a good ESL Pro Series during the entire FIFA season and our lack of twin brothers who are full time professionals. The team of SK is a bit bigger then us, however the international scene is coming closer then ever to the German scene. In Germany, FIFA is really big and it helps SK to be one of the best teams out there.
Every sport has its fans, every gamer has his own fans and I guess the SK FIFA-Twins have a lot as well. Have you got any fans that you know of and do you look up to any other gamer ? Do you have you FIFA idol ?
I do not think I have any 'fans' or at least not that I know off. Since I started I know I have become more popular or important to the Dutch scene or name it whatever you want. But I do not think I have actual fans. If I would see someone as an idol it would be my team mate RuBiNaLDo or the SK Twins. RuBiNaLDo is a great guy, always friendly and a great player. Unfortunately Israel did not support the WCG last year.
