page 1: Introduction
Here I am again, isn’t that fast, you are not used to this kinda speed are you ? Well, like I said: my goal for this new year is to give you more WAT’s and that is just what I’m trying to do here :D. So here we go. What About That number 6 with, yet another but if it’s up to me definately the last :p Dignitas member. This time I went up the ladder as far as I could untill I reached this guy. He is the Chief Financial Officer or for the our beloved english readers the Managing Director of Team-Dignitas. His name ? Michael “ODEE” O’Dell: a great person, a good father, a fantastic manager and much more... Go on and read what he said to me and I garantee: some nice little stuff in there!!! Have fun :D.
Mister ODEE, the question is: “Who does not know you?” but since most likely some people will not know you, please introduce yourself first.
Well I would say the Counterstrike side of eSports would know me less as we have not really become involved with CS until the middle of last year. I am the Managing Director of Team Dignitas and I am supported by the Swede “NewmaN” and the German “dc” who are our main managers. We set Team Dignitas up as a UK company late in 2003 as we felt this was a good thing to do as we were dealing with a real world sponsor :) and contracts were involved. Our Battlefield 1942 team was the best in the world and we were offered a sponsorship deal from ABIT. What happened next is Team Dignitas as it is now and it is a lot of fun managing it, that is for sure. Team Dignitas has one main vision and that is to get our players and teams to events and that goal is as strong today as it was when we formed.
