What About That: dignitas ODEE

You are a man with lots of experience in the world of eSports and you have achieved an awful lot of victories and other achievements of all kind, could you tell us the greatest achievement of all or moments who will stay with you forever ?
Well, major things that stick in my mind would be getting ISDN and becoming an LPB that was so cool :). Winning my first EuroCup in Battlefield 1942: that was a great achievement. I have won 4 EuroCups in total. Playing Q3CTF for the UK National team was probably my proudest achievement. As a manager, every time our teams play, especially at LAN tournaments, is like having another baby. It give me the same feeling :). The absolute greatest though is being a part of building Team-Dignitas into what it is today, it is so cool.


What are your personal goals for this new year and those of your organisation ? Are their big awards that you would like to conquer as an organisation and by Dignitas ?
This year is all about further investment for us, with our new deals we will be able to attend more events, we went to 81 in 2006. We want to get more into the main stream tournaments such as WSVG and maybe CPL that would be nice. But we will also continue to support the communities that have supported us so we will continue to attend LAN's for COD2, BF etc. For us FIFA will again be important and our CS team will continue to gain experience so in that domain it will be more of the same basically :).


Michael, it has been a great pleasure to interview you. I must say that we broke the record of longest WAT interview in both terms of time and length. It was very interesting to hear your vision on things and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Yeah, it was good. As I said you are lucky I had the day off today to do a lot of team stuff :).
