page 4: Call of Duty 4 / QuadV

Compared to Call of Duty 2, more and more people from different games seem to like Call of Duty 4. Already it's grabbed the interest of G7 teams such as fnatic and 4Kings and is a possible game for next years World Cyber Games. I see a lot of events supporting Counter Strike 1.6 for the "big team game" and have done for years now. I do not see 1.6 on Xleague TV but I do see Call of Duty 4. Do you think Call of Duty 4 can possibly knock games such as Counter Strike off the lines in the future?
TosspoT: No I don’t, how quickly did people drop their previous games for Call of Duty? Well it’s the same speed that people dropped their old games for World of Warcraft. Gaming will chop and change and there are very few constants, the only things in this weird and wonderful gaming world that appear constant are Counter Strike and Starcraft. The G7 can’t stop that, they may believe in their own delusions of grandeur but their power is limited. Call of Duty 4 will have a good life span and it will see bigger support than it did in Call of Duty 2, but it will never replace Counter Strike. Nothing in the way we play games currently will replace Counter Strike. Call of Duty players aspire for their game to be like Counter Strike, they wanted WSVG and CPL to take the game and they got one, but that doesn’t mean it was there ahead of Counter Strike.
Putting a side the possible big events that Call of Duty 4 may be present in for the future, how about CoDTV? That will be a major addition to Call of Duty 4 if it arrives. Will this step up the game a bit for Call of Duty gamers?
TosspoT: Undoubtedly, you've no idea the impact that ETTV for example had on the Enemy Territory community, it really pushed the game towards a coverage orientated community something that Call of Duty has never been. It’s a very important facet in terms of centralising the community and making it more active. I help run GamesTV.org and I can say straight away that if Call of Duty 4 gets a TV client that it'd get support there.
The Call of Duty scene hasn’t heard from QuadV for a while. Are you and Paul planning on returning to the scene once Call of Duty 4 gets up and running properly?
TosspoT: Well as I mentioned Call of Duty hasn’t been coverage orientated, personally I can say I am going to change that with or without a TV client for the game and that’s going to come through QuadV. Shortly ill be video capable rather than just audio, unfortunately then Christmas and so fourth will get in the way so it'll end up being January before I personally will delve right into Call of Duty 4 but in short, The Call of Duty scene will hear a lot more from QuadV in the future.
Great to hear. Well thanks for the interview Stuart, I hope for the best for you in the future and I will probably see you at Multiplay i33. Good luck!

Its a nice article and of course, Stu is a great guy, however I would like some alterations made to this introduction.
You may think this is being picky, however it is important to ensure people are not in anyway misled.
Stuart does NOT work for Xleague and neither do I, in fact none of the people who work for QuadV work for Xleague. Xleague hire our commentators on a show by show basis, much like a talent agency and the people they hire do NOT work for them, they work for QuadV and are loaned out. The two companies, whilst having a great relationship, are NOT in any way joined together, either financially or otherwise.
Furthermore, it is innacurate to describe QuadV as "online". We are an Internet broadcaster and have several other functions such as full production services, talent loaning, presentations, documentaries and event coverage. Further, QuadV is a Limited company registered in England and Wales and Stuart is a Company Director along with myself, Joe and Oliver.
