What do you get up to in your free time when not working?

If the weather allows me to, then you will find me in some of the various golf clubs around Copenhagen, as I am a vivid golfer. Besides that I love going out on café’s with friends or my fiancé and enjoy a good bottle of vintage red wine (or doing it at home) and in general hang out with friends. I used to be a hardcore party and clubbing guy, but life has taught me to cherish and use the little spare time I actually have on my loved ones and in another way, then back when I was 20.

With that said, I do though still not say no to a good party, but I’d just rather spend time on something that doesn’t involve me on the couch the next day due to hangovers, which I carry badly. To old? Not at all, just wiser. I do unfortunately also do other work in my spare time as I am involved in some real estate and property investments and therefore have to look out for various board meetings and financial things to be done, but I am trying to limit it. But basically I enjoy time of with a big E.

Your currently living in Copenhagen, have you always lived there and do you ever see yourself moving to either another place in Denmark or maybe another country?

I have lived in Copenhagen for around 3-4 years now and before that in the eastern part of Denmark in Jutland for some years, but for around 10 years or so I have lived outside of Denmark, like Spain, Germany, USA, Norway, UK, Netherlands and France, so I can’t say that I didn’t try that out yet and I will probably stay in Denmark for another 2-4 years and then most likely move to L.A in the USA or Monaco. I am not that big a fan of where I am born (Denmark), as I hate the weather, the cold winters and the insane tax system (I am paying 65% in tax).

Do you see your job at Regroup as a long-term career option? Are you planning in staying in esports for the near future?

My job in Regroup is what I make of it, I have been the CEO for several years and have now passed that position on to another person with more experience on that field and am now focusing on what I am best at, which is as a COO. Regroup is a growth company, which means heavy investments and at sometimes an IPO and an EXIT, so I won’t be there forever. I will move on at some point and go for my entrepreneur spirit and create something new, attract new investments and do the same thing over again, that’s more me.

MYM has everything to dominate 2008 in the major disciplines, let's see how they come out of it.

PS: the pic on page 7 is from ESWC 2006 Grand Final, not 2007
