Group E of the Crossfire Devotii Challenge is expected to be one of more interesting groups to watch. The guest predictions differ quite a lot and with Serious Gaming, Roskilde Ravens and LowLandLions all being able to pack a punch, this is set to be one of the more open groups.
Coming into the tournament as one of the eight top seeded teams, Serious Gaming are one of the main favorites for first place in Group E. The team however have a difficult task ahead, having to live up to the Serious Gaming name, winners of the shgOpen 2007 and the last edition of the Crossfire LAN. Recent results, including a top4 finish in the Callofduty.se codQcup, suggest the team is on the right track. With tough opponents such as Belgian allstars LowLandLions and the Danes from Roskilde Ravens, the team is in for a serious challenge.
Roskilde Ravens have been looking to put Denmark back on the Call of Duty map over the past weeks and have been improving a lot as of late. The Crossfire Devotii Challenge however might be a bit too early for the Danish team, although the team's recent bootcamp in Roskilde, Denmark with fnatic, Vicious and Evil and Team Infinity might help them prove otherwise.
The all-Belgian team LowLandLions have become one of the more respected names in the European CoD scene, finishing fourth at the EuroCup LAN Finals back in Call of Duty 2. The CDC4 will be L3's first LAN event with the current line-up, after replacing the Bocerb'O' with former dfiance player Restyle the beginning of January. The guest predictions suggest LowLandLions has a good chance of making it through the groupstages and it will be interesting to see what kind of damage they are capable of doing in their games against Serious Gaming and Roskilde.

Quite similar to the group of LowLandLions, Roskilde Ravens and Serious Gaming, Group F is set to be a really open group, with three teams battling for a place in the CDC4 playoffs and Mercury eSports as possible outsider.
Judging from the team's recent activity, oXmoze is the main favorite in Group F, followed by H2k.Qpad and Komacrew. The stable French team have shown to be one of Europe's most dominant teams, finishing runner-up in the CrossfireQcup after a close 1-2 game against EYEBALLERS, and placing third in the CallofDuty.se codQcup with victories over DCC Gaming, MY Team, eSuba and Serious Gaming. Winning the French Re-So LAN last weekend, oXmoze are expected to be motivated and fully prepared to take on its main competitors H2k and Komacrew.
The second team in Group F is H2k.Qpad, who, to some surprisingly, got put in the second seed poule after winning the first main European CoD4 event with a victory over TEK9. The mainly Dutch based team got off to a great start shortly after the game was released, winning the Milk LAN in Paris, France with L3 player Sticky acting as a stand-in. Shortly after the French event, things became rather silent around the H2k team and people have begun to question what the team in capable of. In shape, the team can do some serious damage and the guest predictions suggest oXmoze could be up for a real challenge.
The third candidate for a spot in the playoffs the the stable German team Komacrew, who made it to the grand final of the Total Gaming League and were able to impress at the Outpost on Fire 2 back in Call of Duty 2 with a victory over Team Dignitas. Similar to H2k, things had been rather silent around the German team. Just recently however, the team was in the news following the addition of TCM player gene, who would be replacing Butzemann after the CDC4. Although not expected to take first place, Komacrew have a good shot at taking second place.
Predictions
4K^Morg 1. oXmoze 2. H2k.Qpad
\_o-kleineman 1. H2k.Qpad 2. oXmoze
FuRy AnThoO 1. H2k.Qpad 2. oXmoze / Komacrew
MGL Xtctje 1. oXmoze 2. Komacrew
teamxeq Laqunalleh 1. oXmoze 2. Komacrew

Nice preview Camiel!
will be a fucking nice event, with some tense matches.
In my opinion TEK9, SK and another good team (don't know which one) will come out on top. |
