page 1: Introduction

Special thanks to Mike "sCARFACEEe" Long for his contribution.

It’s that time again for yet another epic iSeries event, as the Multiplay i33 LAN event is only around the corner, holding some of the biggest gaming tournaments in the United Kingdom, from Counter Strike: Source to Call of Duty 4. From March 21- 24 competitors from all over the world will travel to Newbury, England, for a chance to get their hands on some of the great prizes that are available to the top standing teams and players.

Multiplay i33 is the first of three iSeries events hosted my Multiplay for 2008, with the second being held in August, and the third being held some time around fall of this year. Call of Duty 4 tops the Multiplay tournament list for i33, with a whopping 12,000€ in prize money, closely followed by Counter Strike: Source with 10,000€.

All-in-all, a total of 1,580 BYOC (Bring your own computer) spots have been taken up, and this number will definitely increase with the amount of teams and players signed-up for the TUP (Turn-up and play) option.

Various members of the TEK9 crew, management and teams will be on-site to closely follow the event, and give you, the users, a head-on look at what’s going on, with exclusive interviews, up-to-date coverage and all the latest news from the FIFA08 and Call of Duty 4 tournaments, in which our very own TEK9 players will be taking part in.

Since the announcement of our coverage partnership with Multiplay for the Call of Duty 4 tournament which will be hosted at i33, we have been constantly putting out the latest interviews for Call of Duty 4 i33 contenders, giving you the latest scoop on the teams practice and motivation leading up to the event. You can cycle through these interviews by clicking on any of the images provided below.

As well as these interviews, we have regularly updated the TEK9 web site with blogs and news, keeping you up-to-date with all the latest happenings with the event.

So what are you waiting for? Click onto the next few pages to read-on about the FIFA08 and Call of Duty 4 tournaments that will feature at Multiplay i33, with exclusive previews for the tournaments, only here at TEK9.

"i33 will also be the team's first real chance to prove the critics wrong, after the continued cheating allegations over the past month."

Don't you mean ever since they started a team? :P Good luck to all teams anyway, hope you have a blast.

"Dignitas will be looking to prove the critics wrong and what better place to do it than the i-Series, an event they won five times in a row."

Were not at all concerned with proving anything. We will do our best, and hopefully we can get a good placing.
