Graham "messioso" Pitt
Graham has been around the Call of Duty scene since it's very birth. He first began making progress in the scene as a ClanBase supervisor back in 2006 and has since worked for the CGS, ESEA, ESH and mainly the ESL, where he has run the UK ESL Pro Series, as well as working on the ENC and EMS in recent months. He has since joined the Cadred team to provide even more coverage of CoD4 online and offline and to provide continued support for the community. "If TCM are not #1 now, I don't know how they ever will get it. Consistant for the whole of 2010, and finally their first LAN win.
Thomas "Deci" Valadou
Deci is an former editor for the popular French website Team-aAa.com and currently writes for Team MondialServers. At 18 years of age, Deci is currently a student energy and environmental engineering in France and has been with the site since September 2008. "After the DSRack LAN and the victory of TCM Gaming, we once again have a Swedish team topping the leaderboard. Power Gaming drop a spot but finish at a well deserved second place after ending runner-up at DSRack LAN and their 2-0 victory over fnatic makes them the undisputed number two. As to be expected, Fnatic remain third after DSRack LAN, despite their recent roster changes. Ranked 4-6th are German powerhouse SPEEDLINK, MondialServers, who got off to a good start with two solid victories in EMS and newcomers Deagle Bros, a new team who won both the Kingston HyperX Battle and ASUS : The Battle for Britain. Kitty, RAGE Gaming, Blight Gaming (who deserve a special mention, having beaten Fnatic in a BO3 matchup at DSRack LAN) and PGS complete my list for October."
Bob "Bcrbo" van de Voorde
Bob has been writing about the Call of Duty scene for about 4 years now and even enjoyed a brief stint at the top of Call of Duty 2 with his German team. After Call of Duty 4’s release he started to focus more and more on the journalist side of things and was in charge of running the LowLandLions website until a few months ago, after which he made the move over to Cadred.org. "With the tragically slow months behind us, we had the DSRack event this month to concentrate on. However badly organized and run it was, it did feature some of Europe’s top teams and a reinvigorated Fnatic line-up showing up for the first time and the Swedes of TCM-Gaming hoping to do their last-minute organisation proud. They surely have, they have finally confirmed something I had already been predicting since their SteelSeries Esports Championship performance and was taken away from them at the Antwerp Esports Festival: their first major LAN win.
Joshua "twrs" Towers
As a former Call of Duty 4 player, Joshua knows the scene from top to bottom. After playing at high level for a long period of time, Joshua stepped down to focus more on the media side of eSports, where he began writing for TEK9. Joshua later went on to change his focuses within gaming, however soon returned to writing and is now working as a professional journalist as part of FnaticMSI. "My rankings for this month mirror the results of the recently passed DSRack LAN #3 event in Copenhagen, Denmark; with TCM-Gaming leading the pack infront of teams such as Power Gaming, FnaticMSI and Blight in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Below these 4, Dynamic Gaming and XAYA make an appearance as well as 30P and auRic. The final 2 positions are assumed by 2 strong performers in the current EMS season's group stage."
Camiel "jetset"
Jetset, a 23 year old Dutch student currently in his final year of his bachelor studies, has been part of one of the biggest CoD portals since early 2005. He is the current director of content for TEK9. "For the first time in ages, Team Dignitas will not be a part of the Call of Duty 4 European Top 10. Overall, a lot of changes in this month's rankings, with Deagle Bros and Blight entering the rankings at number 5th and 6th respectively, and a new number one: TCM Gaming.

For this month’s European Call of Duty Top 10, I have taken a total facts and figures approach (for the most part, anyway), looking at the 3 main competitions which have taken place and ranking the teams accordingly. For those unaware, the 3 main events were the Western Digital Challenge, the Sapphire Euro Challenge and lastly Multiplay’s Insomnia-40 LAN in England; ultimately this does mean that teams such as FnaticMSI, Team SPEED-LINK, TCM-Gaming and Imperial Esports have disappeared from my view of August.
Leading this month will be Team Dignitas who took victory at Insomnia-40 in England just last weekend, whilst playing 4v5 without phantasy and with Lighters standing-in. In my eyes, this is a great showcase for what the team is capable of.
Taking second and third in my rankings will be H2k Gaming and Power Gaming, who both participated in the Grand Final of the Sapphire Euro Challenge – the tougher of the two online tournaments in August. Joining these two will be TLR, who with their new BeNeLux line-up gave H2k a decent challenge.
At this point, quite frankly, I gave up hope of trying to place teams in any sort of order. In my eyes, ranks 5-10 have merely done more officially in Call of Duty 4 than any other team – August was a quite month for the European scene.
Roll on next month’s Top 10!
